The idea was to specialise in aluminium boats. Since 2004, aluminium boats for fishing and pleasure craft have been imported, first of all from the Australian brand Sea Jay. In addition, in the early years ALUBOATS was active in the construction of a small series of aluminium fishing boats and a larger workboat for bathymetry. In 2005 ALUBOATS switched from its current supplier to Australia's largest aluminium boat builder, Quintrex, and began importing their multi-purpose boats. In the same year, the folding aluminium boat from Canada, the Instaboat, was introduced to the Swiss market. After several changes of ownership the company filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and therefore no longer exists. In 2017 ALUBOATS entered into a cooperation with Bord-à-Bord, an aluminium boat builder from Brittany. Since 2006 ALUBOATS is a dealer for Honda marine engines. In 2009 ALUBOATS expands the range of motors by becoming a dealer for Torqeedo electric motors. In 2020 ALUBOATS becomes Torqeedo service point for the French speaking region.

The pictorial, self-taught approach of Marina Bogacheff reflects her entire personal journey. Her affinity with realistic, even hyper-realistic style painting is based on her meticulous and quasi-analytical character, and due to her various training in the area of mathematics. In 1956, the "A-Division" was founded in England by the former "International Yacht Racing Union" as a free construction class. Today, it is one of the oldest and most active classes worldwide. Thanks to minimal construction limitations such as restrictions on length, width, and sail area, builders had all the possibilities from the beginning to constantly develop this type of boat. As a result, the A-Class has become a high-tech racing boat and is considered the "Formula 1" of all sailboats. The most sophisticated materials such as carbon and kevlar are used in the mass production of hulls and masts where other builders still rely on fiberglass and aluminum. This development potential has been recognized by major industries. World and European championships are regularly attended by the most famous helmsmen in the world. However, it has always been an A-Class specialist who won the championships. Due to this recognized popularity, the number of participants has been limited to between 80 and 100 boats depending on the event, which requires country officials to regularly organize national selections.
